The Story of Secrets on the Lake

Where Dreams, Family and Nature Meet

  1. 1958

George and Aldy first met at Dalby High School in 1958. They were just 14 years old.

  2. 1975

They purchased a 50-acre farm at Baroon Pocket, near North Maleny. Already on the property was a disused grain silo. Most people might have seen an old silo. George saw a home.

  3. 1985

By 1985, the family had sold their farm, and their much-loved silo home was demolished.

  4. 1997

In 1997, George and Aldy opened their new business under the name Treetop Cabins on the Lake.
